Farmer's Daughter
Most of ya’ll might not know that I grew up on a working farm. Yes, I actually had to do manual labor growing up. Like work in the tobacco and straw fields in the blazing sun! Working on a farm all summer every summer is not a teen’s ideal way to spend their free time. Looking back though I’m glad my parents pushed my siblings and I to do tough work, we’re better because of it. This farmer’s daughter could never lose her true country self, and I think that shows in my style!
This current season I’m finding all the cutesy country-bumpkin dresses at Target! I’m loving them all, especially this one, which comes in several colors! This is such a steal at $25!! I think this dress was made for boots. I love contrasting girly with tough and edgy. These classic Frye harness boots are my go to with mini dresses. I’ll style them in the winter with skinny jeans and a chunky sweater.

I’ll always stay true to my farm girl roots, even down to my boots. Revisit your true roots every once and a while. After all they made you the person you are today!
