Some Bunny Is On The Way
SOME BUNNY IS ON THE WAY
April 1st, we had our first baby shower on our Chapman side. The theme was so fitting, since Easter was the following weekend. I absolutely adored our bunny themed shower, and felt I had to share it on the blog! I love party planning and truly find it exciting to see a vision come together. I had my hand in this shower, alongside my Mother-n-Law. I’m sharing all the adorable bunny details we used below.
BUNNY DETAILS
This gender neutral shower was all in the details. Many trips were made to T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods to find brown, tan and cream colored bunnies to fit our neutral color scape. We scoured thrift stores to find colorful antique books to add height and dimension to our tablescapes. Draping fake greenery added whimsy to this decor look. Using real babies breath is my go to flower trick when I have a lot of vases to fill. Plus, babies breath is beautiful, classic and cost-effective.
We tied linen napkins into bunny shapes and added ribbon from the dollar store. This was such a fun element and everyone thought it was so cute!
A VERY BEAUTIFUL BUNNY CAKE
This dessert table was one for the books! From the stunning antique table and antique floral plates, to the simplicity of the white cake and cupcakes, this was a show-stopping dessert table. I love how elegant a white cake looks. If you’re looking to keep your desserts affordable, then order through Publix bakery. You can then add your own decor, as in real flowers or personalized signs. I cannot rave enough about Publix cakes and bakery items, not to mention they are tasty and extremely affordable.
GRATEFUL HEARTS
BJ and I thoroughly enjoyed our couples BBQ & Bunnies baby shower! We were blessed with a huge turnout, but more importantly so much love from our closest of friends and family.
Baby Chapman is already feeling ALL the LOVE!
